Professional &
Child-first Advocacy

A fully-accredited non-profit supporting young victims of abuse in Wayne, Holmes, and Ashland counties since 2004.

Why Child Advocacy?

A child tells their abuse story an average of 11 times during an investigation — reliving the trauma with each interview.

Child advocacy centers reduce trauma by conducting child forensic interviews in a child-friendly environment.

The Road to Healing

Young victims of abuse deserve to have their story told but how can this be done safely and effectively?

The primary mission of The Children’s Advocacy Center is to reduce the trauma of all abused children who walk through our doors.

Our compassionate professionals help families walk the road to healing through the use of specially-trained forensics interviewers and medical professionals who excel at helping victims of abuse.
